would a banks high ram off of a 3rd gen fit on a second gen?

i know you can modify a second gen intake to fit a 3rd gen but i dont think the other way around. plus you want to say away from banks. its dyno proven to flow less air than a stock manifold. if you really want a good intake manifold look up Byrd's diesel off of ebay. there made to order with 3 ports and powdercoated the color of your choose for under $200. i have one its a real quality American part

ok thank i was jw cuz my buddy has one on his truck but hes getting a new innercooler and wont be able to use it anymore and he was going to give it to me if it would fit

it will mount but will be the wrong angle to accept the silicon boot from the intercooler
:agree2: 3rd gens are near straight down and the 2nd gen is a bit more angled to the front. I'll take it for free.

Just order the 45 degree intercooler boot. I am running a cfm+ from a third gen and it works fine with the tunnel ram to make it even a crappier angl and it still works. The boot cost less than 15 bucks.
