I was wondering, when putting and aftermarket intake horn on when you take the stock intake horn off there is a grid(maybe a sensor or something) where the horn goes into the block, if seen the new set up where you can eliminate that is that important? What does that grub actually do? Would like to hear from you guys thank you

Dear Mr. Michigan. I have been to your planet in the winter and it is stupid cold. Leave the grub heater alone. You can take it out if you want to save money. You wont have to worry about buying diesel, insurance, wiper blades, etc from September to May. Godspeed.

I've run the stack for a while now and yes it does help. I've been debating on swaping it out for a Dr p switch. I have one in the shop but am busy with a custom turbo swap so havent had time to play with dr p vs ez
