installing edge jwa + fass 95. i got ?'s

Ordered s&b intake, exhaust, fass 95 and edge jwa cts
already installed the intake and doing the exhaust later on,
Im wanting to install edge and fass. My questions are first, where do you mount the edge fuel pressure guage if fass says plug directly into vp44? do you plug fass fuel line into stock fuel filter to still follow what edge says?

Tapping the exhaust for egt probe, is it really best option to drill while engine running? what are chances of ruining turbo with shavings?

Also for install of fass, removing of bed or dropping tank isnt needed right? From instructions im seeing just unplug factory suction line and hook up new 1.
(stock lift pump is mounted on block)

Thanks and please, any other advice on these 2 installs. Thanks

Well with the fass 150.. You bypass the stock filter. I would guess the 95 is the same. Most people put the fuel psi sensor 12-18" away from the vp with a T in the line and use a snubber valve to fix the water hammer effect. I don't think too much water hammer goes back 18" in a rubber line anyway.

Prefass I had my gauge on top of the fuel filter housing banjo. But I have a 99 and that's the only year edge recommends putting it there. Don't know why.

Egt tap.. I just started with a tiny drill bit and went up siZes real slowly so I made all tiny shaving n no big ones. Then used a pen magnet to get out all the shavings I could. Once there was no shavings, started her up n any residual blew through the exhaust side of te turbo without problems.

I pulled up the bed when I did mine. Made it way easier I think but I guess you don't HAVE to.. Clean the tank vent while your in there too. Just pull it n spray a bunch of air reversed through it.

Thanks, prob will find a t fitting, been reading, they say loosen fuel strap and will give u 3in of room. Gonna try that.

About the egt, keep reading to just drill when running, was hoping someone could confirm.

Thanks again

Yup I've heard that's a fine way too. Makes sense. I would definitely step up in small increments so u have no large shavings and you'll be fine either way
