Thinking of installing a windshield visor on my 2013. Those who have them what brand and where did you get them. Not finding a whole lot for the newer trucks. My truck has clearance lights so I'm looking for one without them that will fit around mine. Any pics would be great.

Are you doing for the looks factor or to keep the sun out?

If it's for the sun factor you could tint the top part of the windscreen and not have a visor.

There is also metallized clear film that will reflect the heat. Really makes a difference, I believe it's Llumar that makes it.

3M Crystalline also reflects the heat.

I haven't seen one of those visors since I was a kid and my Dad stuck one on the family burb.

As you can see in my sig I like visors myself, I usually put Lund sunvisor II on all my trucks however I when I got my 13 and 14 I decided against it. I've never actually found them functional other than looking cool, however the trade off is lots of wind noise and when I have my plow on my truck it got down rite turbulent and I'm surprised it didn't rip off of my truck because of it. Now that I'm 40 I like a nice quiet cab lol.

I haven't driven the truck since I installed it...so I have no idea about the noise. I have the tow mirror's apart doing a led mod to them so I have running lights AND blinkers. hopefully will drive it this week....

drove the truck today. first time since the visor was installed. noise is very minimal. I almost forgot about it till halfway to work this morning....( about 5:30 am). when I remembered to listen for the noise...I turned down my radio...and there was a slight noise...not quite what you would get from a side window being cracked open slightly...... I even cracked a window and that noise drowned out the visor noise. I seem to remember my 99 3500 visor being much noisier....and that visor was a Lund. this visor is a STK ProVisor
