I recently have been researching plug in modules for my truck. I settled on the Stryker because it is load based module and I'm not after BIG POWER. I am after fuel economy and less regens. After my searches and reading through threads by Dennis perry and TC diesel where they claimed good increases in fuel mileage and regens cut in half. I decided I would try it. My truck is used as a tool and any savings on fuel I can get, I will take! And less regens, that's definitely a plus. Once a handheld tuner is released for deletes I will more than likely use it to kill codes for deleting purposes and use the Stryker for my added power and so forth. I really hope I see what Dennis and them have claimed out of this module!!!! And for those that say it isn't a huge "seat of the pants" increase in power....... Yall are crazy! Stryker and the throttle booster will make this 11,500# welding car SCOOT!!!!!

I don't know jack about tuners or stuff like this. Just a question: With less regen's, is there an added risk of clogging up the DPF?

That's right.......I was thinking the same thing. I have the Stryker,BD TSB and S&B CAI installed in my '14 CTD. I love the way it drives and sounds. It really moves when I want it to.
I did have have an issue with the Stryker not being the updated version,as it probably sat on the shelf for a couple of months. My truck started throwing "service electronic throttle valve" messages. I uninstalled the Styrker, went to the dealer and they flashed it. I put it back in and it happened again within a week or so. When I took it back to the dealer, for a week long visit, the mechanic said he was reading "voltage drop at injector 1,2,3 and 5" and called Chrysler. They decided to warranty change my ECM. I'm not saying it was all due to the Stryker not being up to date, but you know........I sent it back to TS Performance for a once over. They did a flash update and fixed a harness plug that was broken. Great guys over there.
I also uninstalled my BD TSB before my first trip to the dealer and found a nice little rattle inside the module. I opened it up to find that one of the nuts came loose and was bouncing around the circuit board. I don't think that was good either. I called BD and told them about it and asked why they don't use locktite...geez. So,I sent that module in for a warranty replacement also. When I got the new one back,I of course opened it to find no locktite. No big deal, but I definitely added some locktite........man what a fiasco......but I'm really pleased with the performance and the get up and go with the package combo

No the truck is burning cleaner and doesn't need to regen as often. When the 6.7 came out in 2007 there were non delete tuners that were "dirty" and forced the trucks to regent more than stock big no no.

I have been running the styker for 12000 miles now pulling a stock trailer around the Midwest. Have picked up 1.5 mpg pulling load, using half as much def that before, and the extra power keeps my 68rfe from gear searching due to 3.42's. Mind had the early software that made pickup buck when I let off the throttle, sent it in and TS took care of problem and loaded their towing tune for me no charge, awesome product, even better company!

That makes me stoked to hear. Glad it is working good for you guys. I am assuming that as long as it's been on the market mine should have all the bugs worked out and the latest update... Hopefully!.......With what my welding car weighs, it's like I'm towing on a regular basis somewhat. Hearing that there is an improvement in fuel economy, less DEF usage and less regens from real world people running this module makes me even more confident.!! Keep the reviews coming!!!

Does the Stryker change any fueling or timing at idle and part throttle?

Added power is awesome, would also like to have something that quiets the motor a bit, not sure if an injector box can delay as well as modify the injector slope/duration.

Just got a TSB, need to get it in for the most recent ABS flash and then I will put it on, but considering a Stryker too.

At idle NO, Part throttle maybe if under load.

This is the Latest PCM update (2013), Its a big one it took close to 25 minutes to download and install, It works well with the latest Stryker Version., I also did the ABS update as well on Monday 11-24-14. You do not need to remove the Stryker to perform these updates, ( I don't) but again I'm the one performing the update.

On Edit: Please DO NOT PASTE & COPY this SB all over the internet, You are welcome to save it on your PC and make reference to the SB # 18-030-14 REV.A at will, and use it with discretion at dealerships across (NA)

I've also been debating the Stryker vs edge. I'm empty most of the time but when I'm towing I don't want to change settings and such. I like to get in and go and not worry how hard I push the skinny pedal even loaded. Does anyone have info on egts and such with Stryker because I've read that towing with the edge it has to be turned down or something to that effect.

From what I can tell from only driving it a few days is the EGT increase is minimal on my insight CTS with the Stryker. I can already tell that the fuel mileage is increasing somewhat, just based on my driving everyday compared to when I need to fill up. I will say the power is strong if you put you foot in it, especially when the TC locks in 4th gear. I also have the BD throttle booster on 50%. I love the way the truck drives. Smooth power when needed, without worrying with changing settings, blah blah. Sometimes in traffic the booster mixed with the Stryker seems a little sensitive, but just like learning to drive the truck with the throttle booster in certain situations, I will adapt to do the same now with the addition of the Stryker. I am after fuel mileage and less regens, so if I can get that, it'll be money well spent in my opinion!!

I agree on the fuel savings. Def is negligible in my case. Keep it updated after a few more miles.

So what HP increase does it give you?

It is load based. I don't know if there are really any increments of HP/TQ to coincide with throttle input or load rating. The way James explained it was, the module will give a 135hp gain at full throttle, 100% load. If you leave a stop sign with the pedal to the floor, you are getting all of that 135 extra hp. Just normal driving, I would say you would see anywhere from 0 added hp to 75 added hp. It is all load based off of the engine. The truck will always be under some type of load, so it will be adding hp most all the time. I really feel like the added power kicks in hard after about 60% load according to my CTS.

Just saw on the Facebooks that TS in having a sale through the 31st of this month where if you buy a Stryker, through them or a dealer, you get their Informant U display for free . I didn't even know TS made a display; anyone have one or heard anything about them?

I have not heard of the display,so I googled it.There is a YouTube of the Informant being installed on a Ford 7.3,it seems to allow changing stuff on the fly,so I wonder what it does on the Cummins?
