well ive been having some fuel back pressure in the lines resulting in cranking or letting the aux pump run a long while before she'll fire, ive tightened all the fuel lines checked everything, ive been told on these forums that its probably caused by a loose or not seated injector, so im going to pick an injector kit (seals and copper washers, etc.) from a local deisel shop and reseat all the injectors, but i dont know the torque settings for the retention nuts on the injector and if i will 100% need to replace the valve cover gasket anybody know?:confused013: thanks

Good writeup on injectors here.
Injectors

Hold downs for injectors are 89 in lbs torque.

Hp lines to head and connector tubes is 28 ft lbs (and that value is critical).

well thanks again for the help, i seem to have fixed the issue. i retorqued all the hold downs, they were all loose and ive had plenty of starts without the hard cranking and aux pump priming forever. did the same thing on my friends truck and is was a good thing cause his number 6 was near finger tight. i pullied the number one, its a little dirty, but in good shape, used all new seals and copper. should hold untill i get a new set of 150h sticks thanks again:flag:
