4Fun, get the gauge first... you will see that what you have will not support the nozzles cummins gave us. The CP3 is a must if you go with sticks, otherwise you will sacrifice performance. I don't want to sound like a know it all, but all the trucks we have juiced..... ran better without injectors if the owner would not modify the cp3.

I would go into detail, but this subject is almost as controversial as Aird dog vs. FASS. Injector folks want to sell sticks, history says install sticks, but my gut tells me take a lesson from the Dmax camp on CR tuning.

Dmaxes can get 700+ on stock injectors. Don't get me wrong, I love fuel... but the common rail is not the cummins of old

I agree with what Wally is saying. With the 04.5 and up trucks, your money is better spent else where, unless you are looking for massive hp #'s.

Are you saying that I DONT need stick to run a Silver 62? Just a lift pump, CP3 mods, and a hot program?

Alot depends on your HP goal. What he is saying, if you choose Not to modify the CP3, you will not see the benefit of the injectors.

A Smarty is more than adaquete to spool a 62 Charger. I ran a 66Silver Bullet with just the Smarty and The truck ran super strong. 3rd Gens don't have much of an issue spooling larger chargers.

YES, I am also hoping if your going to install it on a 3rd Gen you look at the HTT 13 SS Series Turbos

You don't really need the CP3 Mods to run the turbo, but they Help:thumbsup

With the Auto trans I would recommend a 62/71-13, and be sure to decide on TC before you do it. The auto trans turbos need to be tuned down a bit so they spool like you want them to.

Sticks without CP3 mods are not recommended by FTE Diesel, you gotta get the flow to support the drain so to speak. 4Fun, give us a call and we will explain this in further detail.... but your on the right track.

SS technology from High Tech is the Common Rail match, EGT's drop and spool is quicker. Turbo technology is evolving to match the current production motors, and HTT is right there at the edge.:thumbsup
