what are the benifits/disadvantages of buying nozzles vs the entire injector? why spend 250 per injector for 90's when the nozzles are under 1000. I am new to the cummins.
It's not only the nozzles that wear out. The springs in the body can go bad and the bodies themselves can crack. If your bodies are ok theres nothing wrong with just doing nozzles.
Doing nozzles alone is for someone who isn't having any injector problems, just wants some more performance. Complete injectors is for someone whose got injectors that are cracked, leaking, very high miles, etc.
It all depends. I've seen them go bad at 30k and I just rolled over 190k. Stock bodies in mine.
