Hey guys, I will be getting an HTS trans hopefully sunday, so i have started to look into injectors for my 1998 12 valve.
Here are the mods i will have/already have before injectors:

CFM plus intake
S&B cold air
3k gsk
4in dp to 5in mitre cut stacks
HTS trans, billit input etc.
plate work
timing
KDP tabbed

I am thinking about going with either 5x14 (435) or 5x16. I plan on either a PS 62 or a PS64... 3piece ex. manifold....studs and oring down the road.

I really just want to destroy Powerchokes and run with the Dmax's

I will not be towing with this truck, maybe a 1 place car trailer with our belvedere once in a blue moon.
I dont want to get a injector and have to go bigger when i get my turbo(s).

I will be able to keep my foot out of it alittle bit to keep the EGTS down.

but any info would be great!

with a bigger turbo i would go with 435s. you need the air to flow that kind of fuel. but if no turbo, you should be ok with dynomite diesel stage 2 or 3 injectors. more in the 370 range. however, i feel it would be better to just buy bigger ones now and grow into them so to say

Add a 2095 plug to your shopping list, with AFC mods and either get a bigger turbo/s or use smaller injectors. You'll either need more air and rpm, or less fuel. a 4k wouldn't be a bad idea

5x.016 is way to big for even a ps64. A sps64 might be alright with the pop-off pressure set high, and a sps64 would match nicely to 5x.014s
If you only want an ps62 or ps64 I'd go with some smaller injectors, or set the pop-off pressure on some 5x014s and use a ps64

Unfortunately injectors and turbos are two of the things that need to be matchedto preform the best

a stock turbo will comfortably make 350hp and has been pushed close to 500hp (really hot though) I'm not sure how you expect it to run, the stock turbo should make decent power with you setup, although a slightly larger turbo (57-62mm compressor inducer) would make a little more. How do you know it should run better?

And laser cuts, marine injectors, and gutted AFC's all make it difficult to stay on top of the turbo, which may be a problem

Thanks guys, Im thinking about just going 435's, then a nice turbo down the road...I will just use my foot to keep the egt's under control for now. I dont feel like doing injectors twice!

Dual K20s- Thanks very much!!
