The ignition on my truck works fine for starting, but when I shut the truck off and try to remove the key I have to wiggle the key in the switch forward and back a little to get it out. I also have a difficult time getting the switch to engage the ACC position. Is this an issue with the ignition switch or with the cylinder?

With the cylinder, I would think.
Do you have a bunch of keys and other stuff hanging on it?

I don't but I just got the truck. I know ingition switches can do some wired things. I've never had a cylinder fail in me before.

try a little wd-40 or lock de-icer, sometimes that's all it needs as the tumblers bind.
if that don't work, replace the tumbler

Try powdered graphite for locks..
