OK - I plugged it in today...I got the black faced one (xtra $7) because it matches everything else in the truck, and mounted it just above the push to start button.

SIMPLE install, just unplug, replug, zip tie excess wires, and stick on controller. Then choose MT or AT....then hold on!

AND I MEAN HOLD ON....this thing is simply awesome, I unplugged it to actually see if I was on crack, but no (not today) :)

I started on the U9 setting - Ultimate "hold your panties" responsiveness - and yeah it is - I wouldnt use it around town as it can get a little too squirly...but I love it.

The E9 setting is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay spongy!! it takes forever for the pedal to respond - prob never use it as its not an offroad truck, which is what it was designed for.

A.C. - Automatic mode senses pedal pressure to map to the desired responsiveness....kick it - it goes to U9 performance....just mild pressure it is in Eco mode...PROBABLY THE BEST OF BOTH as you dont need to mess around with settings.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED mod.

Solid review!!

Funny, I chose U9 as my first test too. Any of the U settings above 5 were too much for around town use for me. Been running in AC mode and it has been a huge improvement.

Glad you liked it, see if anyone else picks it up and tries it.

From the site, it shouldn’t mess with anything in the ecu. It only plugs into the actual pedal module and can easily be remove if needed to head to the dealer. Now... can the ecu read some change when this is plugged in... no clue.

My truck is a g56... I think the auto will yield better results, but I could tell a noticeable difference with my truck. Enough to not return it at least.

Once you stick the controller on it is on...3M tape on the back - I suspect that it will leave a mark if I pull it off to go to the dealer. I doubt the dealer will notice that their is an extra plug on top of the pedal...so I will just unplug the controller when I take it in and itll be fine....would be tough for them to prove that any damage to anything is the result of a more sensitive pedal...I think? But, no - it doesnt do anything to the ECU!

And yes I also noticed a huge difference in it when in tow/haul mode as well.

This thing rocks.

Better than to BD throttle booster? I am going to buy one or the other after Christmas.
I think they both do the same thing - from my research though - the iDriveUSA is less $$$, has more programs available, has the AUTO program, installs easier & is smaller

But, those are just my observations - I have not been able to test or compare the two side by side.

has anyone datalogged what these things do? I suspect that they just multiply the throttle input % to trick driver into thinking the truck is faster / more responsive.

here is the wiring for engine systems
https://mopar1973man.com/cummins/ar...powertrain-engine-trans-wiring-diagrams-r597/

the apps only have 5v in ground and output signals. The only thing they could do is make lower input output higher input %

I can't believe it would do anything other than what you can already do by just pushing the pedal down more.

Question?? As I have never heard of this thing. 1, is it really worth the money to get better quickness. 2. what dous it actually do and or modify. 3, will it blow my head gasket as my head bolts are stock? my 2015 is fully deleted and when not towing I run setting 3 out of 4, as my head bolts are stock.
I can give it 1/4 to 1/3 throttle and am happy with the results now. what happens if I buy one and take anti slip off? will it be like letting go of a sling shot??
Thanks for any help and or explinations

I struggle to believe that it does anything that you couldn't acccomplish by pushing the pedal down more. You can only give the truck %100 throttle. I believe it just changes the scaling of the throttle input.
I think your right, but it can do it much quicker than your foot and probably keeps it from downshifting when you don't want it to. It does not add power just manipulates it.

BINGO....and yes it works, no I will not be returning it, as i really like how responsive it is....MUCh better than stock....the difference is quite discernible. And no, I am no way affiliated, nor did I get it for free, or get paid to "hype" it.
