i was woundering if there is any way to lower the idel on my truck a few hundred rpm it was auto and i just swaped it to 5speed it idels at 950 or so

its all electronic, so no, and thats where my truck idles at

it can be done, but you would have to take it to a cummins shop and it would probably cost more than you want to spend!

Mine idles at about 800. The book says 780.
