hey guys!
new to the site, use to be a duramax guy until I test drove a cummins a few months back (plus I was sick of doing injectors and head gaskets!!!)
I want to get a 2nd gen and build a puller, anyone have any input or advice?? I have a 03 CR and love it, but its my good truck. so lets hear some advice pointers or ideas...hopefully Garrett from PDP will have some input

I would pm TheBigDeoge if I were you. He's got a pretty sick 24 valve 2.6 puller and he could probably help you out with recommendations. You can tell him I sent you but I don't know if he'd remember me.

Sounds good thanks. Im hoping I get home one of these weekends earlier enough to stop in and see Garrett Shields...he builds some crazy trucks and lives close to me.

Couldn't help it. I would start on the drive line first. The transmission is going to need a lot of work to handle more horse power and the weight of the sled. Most likely a full rebuild with billet input and output shafts, valve body and a stout torque converter.
