I dropped a valve in my 24v so im switching to a 12v. I would really like to make close to 700 hp. what kinda parts am I gonna need... Thanks!!!!

Are you just switching to a ppump or actually switching to a 12v?

700, what pump will you have on the 12v? i've read around 600 on a 160 pump, so with the 215 you should be able to reach it with just tuneing it. good size sticks, about 200's, compound turbos, probably silver 62 over ht3b sometime along those lines. and of course intake and exhaust.

700hp has been done on the 160 before and i was told that even my planned 62/s480 twins wont be able to clean up a 215.

who wants to clean it up anyways? sorry i had to. back to the topic. yeah my buddies 98 is insane with the smoke and he has 35/ht3b, 220's pump work fire-ringed and 60 psi.

yes i am switchin to a 12v. im gonna try to find a 190 pump and will be using my ats 3000/5000 twins

Ha ya i know im probably going to have to spray some nitrous on top to help clear it up but well find out.


its not just the pump that causes you not to clean up the smoke.......
What do you mean?

190 pump huh??? didnnt know they made those??? haha hope you accidently pushed 9 and meant 180 pump.

Actually I think they did make a 190 for the 97-98 California 5spd's. I would think a set 181 dv's and 435s should be able to provide the fuel, 62/71/14s480 would cover the turbo side of it. Hopefully someone with some actual experience will chime in

forgot to mention also, you may not be able to clean up the smoke as much due to the retarding plunger in the 215 pump, this being that the fuel is injected later with the more rack you have. So the fuel has less time to burn up. So it may not be the extra volume you are pushing out of the 215 pump that makes it smoke, but the timing...

I would think the timing wouldn't be to bad with meth/water and 26* set timing
