I am new to the diesel world and after my 03 cummins sits idling for a few minutes i can smell raw fuel around the front of the truck,but I dont see it leaking anywhere.Is this normal or do I have a problem? Any advice would be appreciated.

be sure to check your oil level! could have an injector leaking down! be very careful.

look closley at your cp3 they have a tendancy to leak at the housing.. covered under warranty if you have any....

yes check the pump, mine is leaking onto the wire harness underneath the cp3

Mine did it under waranty.They tighten the fuel lines. 75000 miles plus and no more problems on my 03 HO.
