I need help choosing a programmer for my truck.:banghead:
I would like to know what brand is the best but most affordable.:confused01:


01 auto, aem air intake, no silencer, straight piped,5" tip

i voted for Edge only because to me it's the best out of the options you have up there....

if you didn't know, you need to save up for a lift pump like FASS or Airdog, gauges (depending on the programmer it might have them) and a new tranny (depending on how much you want to play)...

i guess a better question would be........what do you want to do with your truck...play, tow, daily driver, all three or what....

I like my juice, ive never had one issue with it.

You need to have the funds for a lift pump if your gonna do the juice or any other box.

yep the lift pump and fp gauge is most important first off. An edge or adr would be the way to go, as far as built in gauges to save you money.

yea...quad aint gotta warranty mine lol and even if they did, I don't wanna go without it for that long waiting for them to figure out that it don't work and send me a new one on my shipping dime...

it was bad enough having to set it to stock the whole drive to the emissions place and go through emissions...gawd i forgot how gutless she was without a box...think a 3 banger geo metro could have passed me in that slug...:hehe:

oh and IMHO, dont waste your time with superchips or bullydog. some people like them, but i personally wouldnt bother. get an adrenaline or an edge juice with attitude and a GOOD lift pump. youll be a happy camper.

true...but.....for the price of a SMARTY you can get sooo much more HP from a different product...

i still can't seem to stomach the $600+ for only 65-70hp....

Smarty isnt the same beast on a 2nd gen as it is a 3rd gen, get the juice man:thumbsup:
