i have a serious issue. the other day i was loading my girls bike in the back of her GMC Envoy and well the handle bar grips left black marks on her ceiling.:thud: i need to know the best way to get them off before she gets home from florida on thurs. she is going to kill me :kill::kill::eek:hno:

what material is the ceiling? plastic or like a cloth where the marks are..
its cloth. like very thin carpet. im worried about what to use on it because i know how they can tear so easily

we dont have kids yet so that wont work. as for the truck, she wants me to find her a nice 12v dually 4x4:hyper:

I like that cheap spray carpet cleaner at walmart that has the little brush on top of the can. Stuff seems to work good for me on my different vehicles. Maybe try that.

that brush wont make that carpet like stuff on the ceiling start to fray or what ever you call it.

I've never had any problems on mine. I'd get dirty hand prints and such on my ceiling sometimes. But, I've never owned a bowtie.


Could just try a old toothbrush?

Go to lowes and buy a gallon of FOLEX carpet cleaners. Dilute it 2:1 ... and use a soft cloth, and "blot" the area first. Then go back and use the folex full strentgh :thumbsup

ok did it. it seems to have worked but i wont know for sure until it completly drys. i had to walk away from it or i would keep playing with it and thats usually when i go to far and damage something:w:
