I picked up a decent HX35 core to rebuild and replace my HY35. I started tearing down the core unit last night and all looks serviceable so far excepth for the turbine outlet/exhaust elbow. An internet search only showed used elbows or new stock replacements made by AFE for around $130.00 Anyone know where I can get a good replacement one piece elbow for a decent price?

If your hy elbow is still good, just swap it onto the hx.

Will the HY elbow fit the HX35?

The one on my HY looks better on the outside but I was wanting to get another one so I could swap it once with a known good unit instead of chancing some down time.

Yes, the hy elbow will unbolt from the exhaust assy. and bolt directly onto the hx exhaust assy.
