I got sent a Cummins config file from optimal welding for my 2004.5 ram 3500. when I go into the vcm scanner on my laptop and load the config to data log my truck, the vehicle default config shows up and the words for each config is bold and when I hit record it data logs just fine. When I open the custom config I was sent from my tuner, the words are a light gray and when I press record it won’t log anything. Anyone else dealt with this or know how to fix it? I was told to repoll for configs but I have no idea how to do that.

I usually have to connect, disconnect and reconnect to get the pids to show up to log.

Same, it usually takes a few tries at connecting to be able to switch between configurations.
