how to test a battery?

i just bought a new battery and wanted to test it to see how it differs from my old ones. what is correct and what is wrong in this video?

One big problem. The tester he's using is not a carbon pile tester. It's an induction element tester that heats a resistive coil to consume energy.

Carbon pile is the only way to accurately test batteries. I don't care what anyone says.
