how to test a battery?

i just bought a new battery and wanted to test it to see how it differs from my old ones. what is correct and what is wrong in this video?

when i search carbon pile i think i get hte same one as in the video: https://www.harborfreight.com/500-amp-carbon-pile-load-tester-91129.html

how can i tell if it is or isnt with our reling on what an add says?
