truck has II 120's and a dragonflow 85% cp3 and thats it. no programmer or chip, stock turbo. Its smokes like a SOB even when i'm just cruisin. Dont have the cash for a turbo right now but will a timing box help any? what one would you suggest?

Adding more fuel to a stock turbo nets those results. Not much else you can do beyond there besides add more air or decrease fuel.

You could buy a smarty and add some timing and run the p.o.d. low that should help some.

Timing in most cases increases smoke output.

The Stig pretty much hit it on the head.

Im having the same issue. the smarty does help a little but not much. I was going to ask the same question about trying to get rid of some of the smoke. Guess I will give have to go with a new turbo.
