Alright guys, who's all in the 9's out there and what are your MODs?

We are ever so close and just trying to gauge what other guys setups are to ours.

And pics are always good.

How close are you? Regular cab or Quad cab?
Torrey is the only one I've seen that runs 9's AND sled pulls. 400/500 dual fuelers and an engine built to the extreme. It's not an EFI live truck so not sure what tuning he's getting

Reg cab.. 10.3's I believe, with tons more left in it

Nice time by the way. Not trying to start trouble here but why do people say "with tons more left in it" if this was the case wouldn't you try to use some of that tons to see how fast it really is?:confused013: Just saying.

Thank you.

Yes, the reason there's more, (and I don't know about "tons") is because I didn't set the rpm limiter high enough and by 1k feet it was all up in it. Eric just eased off the throttle and it still ran [email protected] Plus this was our first pass with the truck, actually second, but first and only nitrous pass.

I do have more fuel and timing I can throw at it so we're pretty confident it's going in the 9's next time out.
Nevermind haha

First 2 passes ever. So no, it will come when they are ready. It was a fun run. Not sure he wanted to push it all out on the first go around.

We are going to try and make the XPD event at Atco raceway on the 16th.

We're pretty excited for the next time out and just to think, the truck only has about 6,500 miles on it. :hehe:

Another thin is you have to be able to put it to the ground before you can throw down like you want.

Bruce blocks in the 9's with a single 475 or was.
What's the single cab setup Gordon?

I think it was a 1.55?

I can post the slips if you want.

It trapped out at 3500 or 3700 rpms. I'll have to look at the tune to say for sure. At 1000' it was bouncing off of the rev limiter so Eric just lifted and coasted through. That's why the mph was down like it was.

This thing is stock as it gets. Cam, head, short block, everything. Only thing that's not stock in the engine is the Hamilton 110's and the 625 head studs.
Here is the 10.30 run

That 10 second Monte did know what hit him.:hehe:

He's probably still scratching his head.
