I ran the ppe only at a 14.7 in the 1/4 mile, but was defueling badly

[email protected] with the edge on 5, defuelling also, i think with either edge or PPE, not enough fuel from the pump to keep up, FASS is going on soon, 150/150, that should keep the fuel pressure up.:thumbsup

do you have the dpf removed ? 14.8 is kinda slow for a truck with close to 400 rwhp stock hp + edge

i had a 05 powerstroke with a bully dog and exhaust and it did 14.4, i just thought these trucks had alot more in them, my truck feels 10x faster than my powerstroke did.

intake, edge not unlocked and no dpf at that time. truck tickled the scale at 7880lbs, elev is 2800ft. fass is going in soon, truck was out of fuel half way down.

I ran 14.9 at 94 with edge on 5 no unlock yet and mp-8 all the way up. I'm turnin 35's but still thought it would be a little better.

i'm hoping for high 13's with my dpf delete, soon to come egr delete, edge, mp8, intake, and the key to bringing all of them together fass. i believe thats why these trucks are running high 14's not 13's.

Someone told me that these new trucks "learn" what your driving habits are and adjust accordingly. I was told that if you did a few runs at the track that the truck would go quicker (to a point) on each run. Any truth to this statement?

I ran in baytown tx the other night. I found out a few things, I have a horrible reaction time, my truck weights in at 8360lbs and that i have a horrible reaction time.

R/T .63
MPH 89
1/4 15.3

But i made about five runs, the time got better every run with a better reaction on each one. It my first time on a track and i look forward improving it.

I have the PMT and the MP8. I was playing with the settings because i would defuel before the 1/8 mark. I had alot off of the line and it would give up around 75MPH .

I wish i had some video because I left a ton of smoke on the track. I think the People where a little mad because of it.

My buddy ran his QC Short bed 4wd 06 5.9, He has Crazy Larry and a DR. P 110hp Module on there and a built tranny. His best run was 13.3. He out ran our friend with a GTO that was laying down 450 at the crank(He could not hook up).

I know for a fact it is true for the d-max. The guys that pull trailers during the week have to run a few times down the track to get the truck faster. It was usually a half a second difference.

i've heard the pmt smokes alot more than the edge is this true ? also is the pmt alot more powerful than the edge ? i know there bringing out a 180hp tune soon.

It does smoke more than the Edge. It is also rated at a higher hp. Still waiting on the 180hp tune.

wow thats going to be pretty quick, a fass will be a must for the 180 tune, well atleast to get the most out of it. I'm debating over the pmt and edge but there has been alot of posts about the pmt messing up the trucks.
