Seem to be the most popular programmer on here. I haven't bought one because alot of guys talk about how much smoke you can get and that doesn't interest me at all. Everyone loves the power they make though.

My bullydog crazy larry so far has produced more smoke than this programmer so dont let that keep you from buying one. They make good power, still am uncertain they make more power than crazylarry on an 06 anyway. Maybe some adjusting will fix that. What about customer service? Since i got more help from bills06 than bob or marco it makes me kinda wonder.

Well, since I don't own one (yet) I can only speak of what I've read here and most say the cust. service is excellent

Dude, the start of your sig is ignorant. I think your going to get banned real quick. You can have an opinion just say it with respect to the other members.

i can only speak from personnel experience.

bullydog simply works for me and i like the ability to adjust on the fly. combined with quad to bump up rail pressure, setup works for me. bullydog has been helpful on tech support in the past.

as far as others, edge with a2 was in for warranty work 3 times. many deaths along freeways and such. they ceased to fix the parts so the parts were disposed of.

had considered smarty but had a few questions prior to purchasing one. sent pm to mr wagner, no reply, so not going on my truck. a quick check of my signature would seem to imply that i am not afraid to spend some money on my truck, but i am often wrong.

pos dodge,

I read about your issue on the DTR. And you got it fixed by swapping out the FCA. So it wasn't a SMARTY issue. To properly tune the TNT for your truck a dyno is needed. Takes some experimenting to dial it in. Either for power or fuel economy.

BTW, what kind of injectors are you running with the dual CP3s?

Bob and Marco are busy people. May take a day or two for them to answer.

BTW, I have been using the SMARTY for two years now, without any issues. That's including a few beta programs.

Agreed 110%!!! It is a plug an play option but to get the maximum efficienty you have to do alot of tuning... Which involved trying out different tunes and what not... The downloads are not as easy as the bullydog but the power is not even close...:thumbsup

Don't worry you're not the only one to be banned on DTR for SPEAKING YOUR MIND!!!!:woot::beer

i started with just the basics intake, hi-flow muff and diablo sport prog. After i got the fever i did everything else in my sig to try and keep egts low. I heard all the hype about the Smarty and didnt think it would be that much difference. I WAS WRONG. it is stronger and runs alot cooler. the only thing bad about it is the stock tranny doesnt like it at all.

well since mikeyb is a member of both he thinks he knows what went on. point is i talked it over with bills06 came up with some ideas and it seemed to fix situation. How is it not a smarty issue? It wasnt going crazy with bd, different programmer, different program. mikey you can sugarcoat it if you want to.

?

bigdan i totally agree on the egt's being cooler. I dont know how they did that but its impressive, i have noticed a 50 to 100 degree drop with cruise on. still am uncertain about it having more power. i will do some tuning like mikeyb said and see what i got. No injectors, killer price on dual kit, couldnt turn it down. Injectors will be had.
