I have been wanting to go with 19.5"ers for a while, but cant justify dropping nearly $4000 while im in school. I have looked at the Perelli Scorpion ATR, and would like to know How much bigger a 265 is compared to the factory 235. Also, has anyone run these tires, especially on a dually?

the pirelli scorpions are a decent tire, but i've never seen them get very good tread wear, pirellis I've noticed tend to have a little bit softer rubber compound

31.6 H x 10.43W is a 265 70-17. according to the math. To figure out a metric tire size: 1. Divide the width by 25.4, this will give you the width. 2. multiply the width by the sidewall %, double that then add the rim height.

EX: 265/25.4=10.433071" wide
10.433071 x .70 = 7.3031497 x 2= 14.606299 + 17=31.606299" tall

Hope this helps some people trying to figure out metric tire sizes!

I recently added 265/70 17's Cooper Discoverer STT to my 07 dually. No need for spacer, and the look is great. That is a fine tire in the dirt. A bit rough on the rough roads, but they are nice on the better roads. Very little road noise.

How much space between the duals?

I put BF GOODRICH Commercial T/A tires in a 245/75-16 with a 1/4" spacer. These are a great tire so far, I only have about 20k on them but tread depth has not changed even on the fronts.
