New guy here, 1995 Ram 2500, 5spd.

I hosed down my engine today after my trip in the mud pit yesterday and now my water in fuel light is on. I drained the separator(on the botton of the fuel filter right?) until no more fuel came out, but the light is still on.

Sugestions? I read that i may have to clean off the sensor? how do i do that? does it unscrew from the bottom of the filter?

Thanks
Danny

:agree2: Don't worry about it, it'll dry out and be OK in a day or so. It happens every so often, search that topic and you'll find plenty of posts about it. It's actually water in the connections.
You can pull the plug apart and use a little di-electric grease to seal it, so it won't happen again.
