Anybody done this? I need gauges and I was thinking of the old muscle car style crome teardrop types that would be mounted directly on the hood outside of the cab.

sounds like a cool idea. havent seen anyone with that but id like to see it done. seems it would also be a bit cheaper and easier to do not having to run wires into the cab. let us know if u do it:thumbsup

Yeah, i was toying with that idea myself when i get a truck, it would be a lot easier than running everything inside and would look great i think, if you do it let us know how it turns out and if i beat you to it I'll definitely post it up.

Hood scoope from a lada would probley work, then buy gauges for marine or aircraft use.

i plan on putting some guages in my cl inducted hood. Want as many as possible just t o make it look cool. What all guages can i install. Already havepyro/boost/trans on pillar. Think ill do water/fuel/oil for starters. Anything i'm missig?
