I know this is prolly the stupidest question thats ever been asked on the forums, but is there any way to make a home made smoke switch that you put in after the dpf so it wont clog or go into regen?

You could use a fuel injector and inject something that would smoke when it burns into the exhaust after the dpf. We have used extra fuel injectors to add more fuel into the intake of the engine when we wanted more boost out of some turbo gassers. I am not sure how they would work with the heat of the exhaust. You might be able to use something more crude in design to inject a smoke making fluid into the exhaust. Lots of possibilities to do this if you put your mind to it.
