I wouldn't advise running that tune with the adrenaline, but I'll bet it's got mad crazy throttle response with that much timing.

If the "6loader" is indicative of a NV5600 (HO engine), you might as well start pricing studs and an o-ring job since you'll have the head off soon.

just the SO pump on this 1. thats always good news to hear that ill be loosin my head soon. (thought i was already there). the truck is earlly 2000, so its got a hodge podge of parts from dodge. Richard w diesel perform told me that the so would out flow the ho???? not sure on this end. i dont think the tune from Jim is very high on timing. i could pull the 30ft 5thwheel all day with the 150s and never c ovr like1350 up hill. thanks for the HEADS up tho

You might be ok since it's a SO engine. The HO has a higher compression ratio. Add a bunch of timing with the higher compression and it can get ugly quickly.

No. But you will gain a better top end and will be able to use bigger injectors and go over 500hp.
Ya im still thinking about getting a SO pump, or a monster stage 1 or 2, i want over 500hp

I'd stick with the SO till the monster has been out and around for a while.

Are you a gambling man? :lol3:

Honestly I wouldn't run it with that tune, but you do what you want. With all that timing and higher compression you'll have more heat transfer to your pistons. It could end up taking out more than just the head gasket.

oohh he likes to gamble allrite.anyhting to try and out do my trk. u knows how that goes tho. i have not even put my ard past pl8 yet. kinda scared with all this talk from this board. its been very satisfing to run on pl4. the pedal response alone is just top notch. i do know that jims tunes for the HO is stronger than with the SO. i agree that for riceater it would prob b very prudent to think long and hard b4 smackin that thing with the adr. his trk would pull mine by just a little bit b4.(it would have to be a long race to tell much dif) the adr has my trk hands down much qwicker and faster than his now tho:butt:. just keep us up on the safty issuse so we dont wind up blowin heads off and all. thanks guys for the good input

Jim Jessup's tune in the ecm , I think could be removed by using a Smarty and returning it to stock programing.

ya i think for sure any tuner that replaces the stock tune in the ecm would work. but if the jim tune is close at all to the smarty tune then it should work out fine. so far no surging or drivability issues to report at all. get pedal response. lots and lots of smoke if i want. power out the wazoo. luvin it really. hope im not workin on a meltdown. the real test will be pullin the race car and the 30ft 5thwheel with the 4wheelers or the bass boat on the back:lol3: i really dont think its gonna be to bad if i can keep from:peelout with the family in tow. prob get a left to the head from my better half if i get to stupid. she hates when i pass on the two lane whith the camper on:rof. slow people need to get out of the way cause i gotta hurry up and relax at my campsite
