How can I tell what turbine housing this turbo has on it. I have searched everywhere and can't find any info anywhere. I was told it came from an 8.3 Cummins. The numbers on the turbine housing are USA 20K7A 3522065 2541050 anyone know what size housing this is?

I thought the 8.3 Cummins came with HX40??? Is your manifold flange different than an HX35 or the same?

The 8.3's used a HX40. They used a T4 flange also. On a HX40 the housing size is cast into the housing inside the runner by the flange.

It must not be from an 8.3 then. It says HX50 on the tag. I know its an HX50 for sure. You think it might say inside the turbine inlet?

HX 50 is for BIG engines in the range of 10-15 liters and making upwards of 300 hp and OE topping out at 500. www.cummins.com/turbos - Holset HX50-55 Larger L series and up, basically. Probably too big, unless you are planning some SERIOUS fuel delivery. Big boost, big lag. Probably difficult to spool up a turbo that big.
