will the holly alone be enough to pressure my system or inline with the stock oem pump? is inbetween the stock pump an filter a good enough place to put it?. whats the best place for a performance lift pump?
I was going to use a holley but have heard that the diesel will eat the inside. so I went with the walbro seeing I dont have the money for fass or ad. but if you do go with holley go black. it should keep about 15 psi you can take the spring out and streach it out and get more psi.
Mount it on the frame as close to the tank as possible. Elec fuel pumps are designed to push fuel, not pull it. If it were me I would use the Holley by itself and ditch the stock pump if you can. And Holleys will last awhile pushing diesel. My first one lasted 4yrs; a little over a year on my second. That being said its still a band-aid fix until you can get a FASS or AirDog.
