So I broke my headlight and dented my finder all because someone was to lazy to take their trashcan in. So I need a new headlight and I have been wanting the new Oracle Halo headlights but not sure if it's worth 150 to have to amber strip at the bottom of the headlight. What do you guys think?

I personally think it's for new cars or Honda's.

If they had affordable real projectors I'd buy those for brightness though.
Just opinion

I tried some stupid projectors and sold them within 2 months. Junk. In 13+ years as an auto enthusiast I have yet to see an aftermarket light housing that met OEM quality standards. All of them seem to be just good enough to get people to buy them but they leak just after the warranty is up. Aside from leaking, the fitment isn't primo either.

I have read a few of many different companies who sell retrofit kits or headlight companies who will modify mine for me.

If you read the reviews all you really see is how good the work is and fit and finish and the looks of the lights.

That's ricer.

A great light to me is one that shines more light on the road with the low beams on and within the high beam angle when the brights are on. I care about that not how it looks when someone looks at them.

Tons of kits don't focus the light correctly.
There would be nothing worse than settling for a funny ricer round look and have nearly the same light output on the road when your done.
You might as well add a wing LOL. Just my opinion.

Well said. Decreased output was a large part of why I got rid of mine.

If you have never had a true bi-xenon projector retro-fitted you are really doing disservice to yourself. On mine, built by Lightwerkz, using Retro-fit source high quality components I hardly have a need to use the high beam. The width of my Acura TL-r's are truly amazing. I have had this setup since 2009, have posted pictures of it and the output. I did not get the "halo's", as I was going for the "please don't notice me look".

Since I have purchased mine they have come out with Morimoto's and LS 460 VIP projectors. For those that want to buy once and are willing to spend $800-$1100, the choice is simple.

Very nice! The head lights on my WRX were retrofitted by Lightwerkz. The job wasn't cheap, but the end product was definitely quality.

Do you happen to have any pictures of your setup? I've been contemplating on wether or not to get my lights retrofitted.

Anklh, the "please don't notice me look" can only apply to the lights because you have put together one beautiful truck that gets noticed and looked at quite a bit.

It is a good looking truck. What's brighter the double row light bar or the headlight?
Is that lightbar spot, wide beam, or mixed?

Thank you. The Vison-X bar is a 40 degree spot and has the most throw. When it is done at the painters I will get a night shot to show the differences in "brightness". All lights on the truck serve a specific focus zone. Sets for street legal and those for off-road. I use these diagrams as a guide so there is less overlap. While matching Kelvins is preferred all I care about is producing usable "daylight at night" that does not interfere with oncoming traffic.

Ya I agree the aftermarket projector headlight look cheap I talked to a few company's that can make what I want but they want 1400 to do that. I'm not gonna go ricer by no means. I like the orcale headlight which are not projector just a stock headlight with the halo rings then I'll put the projector lens in. Plus I have LEDs in my headlight that are 3200 lumens and I love them don't use my brights hardly at all
