I just changed all my valve cover gaskets and started the engine just to make sure everything was kosher and there's a slight hissing sound coming from down by the injection pump, any ideas? It doesnt sound like its coming from the valve covers.

Thanks!

Check the intake plate gasket under the heater grid plate, mines gone bad twice. Stupid pink gasket material!

i would check that cheap flexible fitting they have to connect the hard line to the vaccum pump, i bet their could be a leak their, just get yourself a 1.5 ft section of the right size rubber hose and cut of pieces to replace all your vaccum fittings..even if they aint that bad or thats the problem, a few bucks and you wont have to worry about vacuum leaks anymore
