Ok guys so my truck has 240k miles on it and i blew my engine about 1 month ago and put in an o4.5 motor in my 04 with 121k miles, just saying this incase some parts are different in the o4.5 325hp motor compared to 04 305hp motor. So the problem is about 2 weeks ago i got the loudest, idk how else to describe it other then the loudest 6.0Lpowerstroke turbo whistle you've ever heard haha. And so my bro in law came over and helped me and it was a hose disconnected the clamp was broken, i think its the intercooler hose and thats what he said it was too so im guessing thats it, if that makes sense why that would make a loud whistle noise then im guessin thats it. So the noise is maybe 10% as loud as it was when the clamp was broken but the noie is back again 2 weeks later and i checked the same tube/hose and its all tight and connected well, its only loud enough to hear inside the cab with no music on radio, but im just wondering since the hose is all tight what this could be or if it is a problem or nothin to worry about?
