Is there any negative effects of removing the high idle screw

there really isnt any side affect. the pump governs out anyways

I suspect that the high-idle screw is there to act as a kind of 'valet' control for commercial vehicles.. Restricting high idle is cheaper than going into the pump. Just my wild guess.
