im looking to upgrade my head lights.to a projector /hid package
so what have people done, what are the best housings ,hid bulbs .
i will be looking at no more than 5k bulbs.

i want something that is adjustable if posiable ,not required. these are to go in my 95 2500 ctd

i have a 96 1500, i have these .they are non adjustable.they do throw more light, but the pattern is very odd.

Been thinking about this too...

I have to see them on a truck in person before I invest. Not real keen on the LEDs they have. Like to actually see them on and off and with just parking lights on.

I don't have the projectors, but.. I do have a 6K HID kit from xenongate.com with new, factory housings and it's... Well, I'm spoiled. I love them, everyone I meet on the road hates them. I don't care for the projector look, personally... I love my setup. No joke, I checked it once on my way to work, these HID's will light reflectors up over 4/10's of a mile away.

I have projectors in my rig that the previous owner installed. And I am not fond of them.

They are hard to adjust and they project to a point, a line. Like a plane of light out there, it just cuts off and is dark from that point up. They are the ones off LMCTruck.com.

I will be switching to the clear all black headlight housings and 4300K HIDs

HIDs

Friend of mine has an HID conversion kit installed. Think I will be doing this. I am not real upset with the stock look housings. THe HIDs with the 6000k bulbs should turn night to daylight! The aftermarket clear or black with HIDs would be pretty cool though!

these are the projectors i have

they look good if you like the halo light and leds. but the lighting sucks. it uses a projector as a low beam and a recular light plus the projector as high beam. i think if you put a hid kit in these lights they will really light up
