Oil leak from the cover post i made acutally turned out to be the head gasket. Taking care of that. Just finished pullin it off... The TST misfire i've been having heres the news...

BACKGROND...
TST reports the box is designed for a stock motor and not to be stacked with. they also say every power add on you have done to your truck pre or post tst...The lower level the box must be ran on to avoid misfire.

THE EXPERIMENT....
Put my TST comp in a friends truck with the same sticks as mine...Put my smarty in his truck as well...He even had his edge EZ in there as well. Technically his truck should have been running like crap if tst was right.

VERDICT...
His truck went REALLY fast:CRY:. I'm very upset about this. He ran TST comp on 8 &9 smarty on 8, EZ plugged in, and the 125 sticks and it was incredible. Very smooth and responsive power. His truck pulls very nice through all 5 gears. The only difference is his is an 02 5spd. mines a 98.5 auto.

I pulled off my VP tonite as well and will pick up a replacement tomorrow. I have to have a weak vp. I tried his regular tst 3 and i still couldnt run on a level above 3 w.o misfires. Does this sound like a good test? and one more thing....Any one experience #6 injector being covered ALOT more oil than the other 5 when removing it?

Well i Warrantied the vp, changed the fuel filt. re-torqued the head down after the 0-rings, and now its surging. I also added a Fuel pres gauge 0-15 and its pegged at an idle. Under a hard throttle the gauge is making a high pitch sound like its gonna burst and soak my cab with fuel. yes its mechanical stupid me but its been an expensive month. Richard (coaltrain) suggested a fuel pres regulator. I could be feeding to much to the vp. I'm just using the stock lp with a carter pusher on the frame feeding that one. (18psi). I'll try that next when i get back to TX from colorado.

The TST stacks AMAZINGLY well with a smarty. I ran that stack with 100-240hp injectors with no issues and have never heard of TST saying that.

I wish I had No problems. I hate having all this crap in my truck just for it to start surging and be a turd.

Crazytexan check out you alternater they can cause problems with the TST. The alternater is listed on the TST website as a possible problem.

that is a good point John. it could be "leaking" a/c voltage and causing havoc.
