check engine light came on truck wont rev about 1500 rmps and wont build boost over 5 psi i checked the codes on the dash they are p1492 p1693 p1692 p1689 p0121 can someone tell me wht the helll these codes mean and witch won is cuzing truck to not run propperly

because the codes look like 2nd gen issues (VP44 and APPS)

Perhaps you should take it to a diesel mechanic.

Edit: Is your google broke? lots comes up - even related to 24V.

P0121 Accelerator Position Sensor (APPS) Signal Voltage Too Low.
APPS voltage input below the minimum acceptable voltage.

P1492 Ambient/Batt Temp Sensor Volts Too High.
Battery temperature sensor input voltage above an acceptable range.

P1689 No Communication Between ECM and Injection Pump Module.
Data link circuit failure between ECM and fuel injection pump. Low power, engine derated, or engine stops.

P1692 DTC Set In ECM.
A Companion DTC was set in both the ECM and PCM.

P1693 DTC Detected in Companion Module.
A fault has been generated in the companion engine control module.

P1693 DTC Detected in PCM/ECM or DTC Detected in ECM.
A Companion DTC was set in both the ECM and PCM.
