Exactly. You changed the fuel control actuator and now you fuel consumption has changed drastically.
That sounds like a very strong hint to where the problem is to me.

I know, I know, "I just changed/installed a new/replaced the XXXXX, so that's not the problem". That's seems to be how dealers troubleshoot, and make a small fortune doing it.

....and one hard thing for most repair places to accept is that they may actually get a new defective part.

FCA Sensor, Fuel injection regulator.
Do you mean FRP sensor or Fuel Control Actuator
You been Drinking? ;)
