2015 2500 crew long box with 16k

fueled up yesterday and everything seemed fine. remote start on my rig this morning and walk out to fuel pouring out from under truck. climb under and see that fuel is pouring out of the separator at the rear of the truck. could it have loosened up causing fuel to dump and alls i need to do is tighten it?

I don't know how it would get loose enough on its own to let fuel pour out, but I would l twist it hand tight and close it. One thing to note is that it is closed when you twist it down from the filter. Cannot remember if it is clockwise or counter clockwise, but when it is up right against the filter, it is wide open. I learned that at the first filter change, I turned it the wrong way and on first start, it poured out. But within a week or so, all traces of the spill were gone from the driveway.
