I have a 98 dodge ram 1500 and it will cut off when i start to drive off and sometimes it doesn't want to start. I just need some info on what it might be so that i can get it fixed. thanks

no it's just a 1500. I didn't know where to go to find info about this truck and i found this site. if you could help it would be great.

well you prolly want get as good of answers here this is a diesel site, but start with fuel filter, and if it starts to where it will turn-off, and wont start, check the fuel cut-off switch, and also the alternator, if it glitches sometime the batteries wont hold and it will shut off, and usually will fire back up after a few...

I would say check TPS and fuel pump/pressure
