2 weeks after installing edge juice w/ monitor along with a air intake my MIL comes on an my edge monitor lets me know of a P1451 code. My over head gives me a catalyst stat::::::80% full. So I take it on a long long drive and and the overhead catalyst message goes away and shows system OK. My MIL light is no longer lit, but my monitor still shows error code P1451 and chimes twice every time I start up. Edge will not clear this code. I have set the edge back to stock and have not seen the catalyst full message for a few days, but it goes into regen every time I get in for a short run. There has been no loss in power, but I am preparing for a 2000 mile trip with our fifth wheel.
Do I have anything to really worry about here or what?

It has to do with the regens, running the edge with the DPF in place causes it. Need to rid the truck of the DPF.

I got that code to just keep driving it! Long trips and driving hard is the key! I was told by the dealer I drive my truck too eazy. They will tell you the same! Do those things and it will go away!

I was hoping to avoid messing with the emmisons (deletes). I am from here in California where they are talking of smogging diesels in 2010. I don't know if I want to keep digging myself into a deeper hole. My 6.7 is only a year old with a good standing warranty. I have had no problems with my truck up untill this. I was just looking what everyone else is searching for.........better fuel milage!
