I have a 06 MegaCab 2500 with the 5.9L and 4x2. Everytime I key up my CB radio, the truck starts idling rough and has even stalled out. I have the CB radio plugged into the 12V power outlet and not the cigarette lighter plug. It seems to run rough more than it has stalled out. Please post your thoughts and let me know what is causing this and how I can resolve this issue quickly. Thank You to all that assist me with this matter.

So your CB is only plugged into your 12 volt outlet and nothing else? (beside the antenna) What is your battery voltage like? It sounds like a wiring issue to me. See if plugging it into the cigarette light produces the same results.

check for bare wires also, have a buddy who hooked one up, and when he keys it up, his truck defuels, depending on where things are placed, the ohm resistence can mess with the ecm signal...

Thanks for all the info so far. I have tried both power outlets (12 volt and Cigarette Lighter plug) and get the same results, still idles rough.
After checking it out this morning and researching this problem online, I tried just hooking up the CB radio to the 12 volt power source/cigarette lighter and NOT connecting the antenna wire to the back of the CB radio, I noticed that the engine runs perfectly normal. So I guess this may be a grounding issue with the magnetic base mount or grounding problem on the wire that is plugged into the radio. Any other thoughts or ideas about this, please let me know. I am running out of time and would really like to get my CB working properly before I make this long and boring trip.
