how many ponies are you lookin to support? In my opinion, the Super B single is a little big for anything under 375 hp. Once you turn your programmers down and try cruising around town, you'll see a little more lag and a little more black smoke than you used to also. It's a good turbo though, as long as you keep those programmers turned up. I think with your signature, you could easily support a Super B.

Leave the manifold and intercooler alone. They work but they ain't worth the money at the power level your at.

I have had a high tech 62/12 -65 turbo on my early model 04. Then I upgraded again to BD standard twins (the super B used as the top turbo). Great spool up. Go with the BD super B. I wish I had. It would have made upgrading into twins cheaper.

If you never plan to upgrade to twins, then you may want to consider the high tech. When I had it I believe I was pushing 450-500HP. I think the Super B maxes out at 425hp.

Since then I have upgraded the BD standard twins to the 700 race twins.

If you want Twins later then the Super B is the way to go and even if you do not run twins later the super B is awsome. i ran it as a single turbo for some time before i went with the BD twins

The Super B doesn't spool AS quick as the stock turbo. I found that out the hard way. It does spool quick though and will way outflow the stock turbo.

if you're gonna do the quick spool manifold also (which I suggest while you have it all apart) you'll need to get a manifold gasket set (six little gaskets) from a local parts store. Otherwise everything else is included.

I've got the quick spool manifold but my Super B still doesn't spool as fast as my stock turbo used to. I think the reason for that is that I'm not fueling hard enough though... When I changed out the turbo, I did the manifold at the same time so I don't know if the "quick spool" manifold ACTUALLY spools any quicker than the stock since I changed the turbo and the manifold at the same time.

did u do both at the same time. b braden says his spools slower than the factory one .i cant imagine a turbo spooling any slower than my factory turbo and i dont know if it is that the turbo is worn out or if it is to much fuel. it is deff. slower now then when i first got the truck
