Did you talk to Doug ?
I am glad you now have it under control, sorry about the problems.

As for me, mine sat in the driveway as a planter until I sorted it all out.
I know the feeling of depression over a stupid tool that is supposed to work for you.
These trucks demand a lot of work for them.
If i is not one thing with these, it is something else.

Didn't catch the name. Now I'm stuck trying to figure out what I want to do because I don't think they are going to honor their warranty and really don't want to be out that on a pump.

If they want to not honor the warranty and it is a legit one post here and tell management here as I think they are a paying advertiser.

we are all allowed mistakes-
it is what we do about it that makes us an honorable business or not

What is Blluechip's price for a standard VP nowadays? Yes the provide a lot of help and information. Not used them myself though. Industrial Injection is a good direct builder if you have one nearby.

So little update on the truck it also has a P0382 code. So I have grid heater relays and new wires from prosource diesel coming. I'm going to check alternator for AC noise and see if I am getting anything stupid there. Drove the truck around yesterday for a while not a single issue ran great but not pulling the trailer again. Trying to get this sorted before we got 3 hours each way to a race in a couple weeks. I am about to the point of just ordering a blue chip pump and keeping it in the trailer in case I need to swap one. I sure hate to do that though.

If this is an auto?
I think i read "separate the pos wire @ alternator, and run it across the radiator." ( for AC noise)

Ok so update here. Drove the truck on a long trip this weekend and we pulled the trailer. Went about 5 hours 1 way pulling the trailer and it was run pretty hard 70-80 pretty much the whole way. It had 2 small hiccups on the way there just right together and then it did not do it again. The dead pedal was not like it had been though and I'm wondering because I had batteries unhooked the other day to replace grid heater relays. So I had reset APPS. The way home we did not have the trailer with us and it never had a single issue.

No codes again or still? Clean and check battery cables again, make sure to scarape them to shiny metal on all posts and clamps and make srue ther is no green in cables. If you still have 0216, just get used to the idea.

VP is about done, may last a day like that, may last months. Start saving now or get one now. Shop around. O'reilies is good with 3 yearwarrnaty. Others are ok. Thoroughbred have had lots of troubles lately with poor quality rebuilds out of the box. prices of 12-1700 are fair.
