Sorry, but I am not buying for a second that fuel pressure sets timing at all. Timing is set by the computers(ECM and VP control chip) reading information from the Crank/cam sensor, MAF(P) sensor, TPS, Boost sensor and IAT and setting timing accordingly. It will be the same whether you have 10, 15 or 20 pounds from the lift pump. It supplies fuel for burning, cooling and lubrication only. If fuel pressure is too low too much heat and too little lubrication can cause the timing piston and it cylinder to ear or seize causing the timing failure 0216. The pressure has nothing to do with timing itself. I don't think there is even a inflow pressure sensor in the VP or anywhere else or the monitors would have a code for low fuel pressure.
Think about the mechanical logic of it.
I am not saying they are not a good and helpful outfit, but that one makes no sense and never been stated before by anyone or anywhere.
