help hith towing mods for 04.5

Hello I am a ford guy right now but looking into a 04.5 Dodge 6sp duelly. Is there anything to look out for in the 3rd gen trucks? I am into towing around 20K and want to be Supper reliable. What should I do with a 2K budget to get this truck moving. Do these truck need a FASS lift pump like the earlyer ones need? I am assuming a clutch is needed.

Depends if the truck has the original canister mounted lift pump then an aftermarket lift pump is a very good idea. If it has the in tank one then it is not as huge of a deal.
