I have a 98 12v 5 speed and the clutch is not fully disingaging the fluid is full is there a way to bleed it? or adjust it?

I noticed it was hard to get into 1st and reverse but it is getting worse i just bought the truck last week

I've heard of the issue of the actuator rod being too short for aftermarket clutches causing non-disengagement.
I would ask the previous owner if he replaced the clutch or RE and RE'd the trans recently. Could be misalignment, bad pilot bearing, or clutch actuator at fork.
There is probably someone on here that knows more than me so you might have to wait a couple days and give the thread a bump.
