Hey, I have a 1999 Ram 3500 dually, 4X4, 5sd, 5.9 24v Cummins. The truck has around 170,000 miles on it. The truck has started to throw codes that have to do with circuits and relays. It started off with just one and now it is up to five codes. The codes are:

-Po122- Throttle/pedal position sensor/ switch A circuit low
-Po382- Glow plug/ Heater Circuit B
-Po222- Throttle/pedal position sensor/ switch B Circuit low
-P1690- Fan control relay(s)
-P0336-crankshaft position sensor A circuit range/ performance

The truck had a really bad power steering leak that got everywhere on the block and around the area where the pump is.(I don't know if it could of got on or in wires. Don't know if it could mess anything up with the wires, which could be causing these codes.) I have also replaced throttle position sensor, camshaft sensor, crankshaft position sensor, intake heater, new batteries and many other sensors.

The truck has a miss when driving and idling sometimes. I feel like there is a lack of power too. The wait to start light does not come on, ( it will come on if you unplug and the plug up the batteries, but will only come on for about 3 starts). The truck also won't start sometimes it will just keep cranking, but then sometimes it will just fire up. The RPM tack will also drop down to 0 when idling or driving at any speed, most of these other things start acting up when the RPM tack drops out.:banghead:

Anybody know what could be causing this and how could I fix it?
ECM or PCM?
Any suggestions please help!!!!!!

need to change the crank pos sensor thatll cause the hard starts and missing
thanks for replying
I will probably try to changing them again. The things is though I changed the throttle position sensor 4 times I think it was and tried two different manufactures and the same codes just keep pooping up. I have tried all the tricks of trying to reset the truck but nothing seems to work.

the only other thing i can think is that they all share a common ground
That is probably what I will check out next. Do you know were any grounds would be at?

The grounds are everywhere. Coming off batteries to block. From the block to cab. From cab to frame. There's one behind passenger side behind the cab going to the frame/cab. Then on the back under the bed there's one there too. Might be all just have to look. Might check out the big plug under the cab behind the driver side front wheel. Pull it apart and make sure its good and clean. Put some dielectric grease in the plug before snapping it together. Look up the alternator diode test here on the forum too. Get it tested.
